This site was primarily done in images because it was intended for private use only - there was no need for search engine optimization so I didn't design as simply as I normally do, in order to get sites ranked high on the search engines. The couple wanted something with an art noveau or art deco flair. They provided art noveau/art deco posters and desired Klimt paintings as an overall influence to the work. I took the scroll out of Klimt's painting Junius and used his classic gold color throughout. The front cover also has a cutout of Klimt's The Kiss painting, appropriate for a couple about to be wed. The website was only one of five design pieces created. There was also two greeting cards, one RSVP card and one business card. The live site is no longer available at lusinchi.com since the wedding has long since passed, but I have put the same site on my own server, which you can reach by clicking on the link below that says lusinchi.com.
